Transports, handles and prepares material for in process or finished goods processing and Operates, monitors or tends machines to perform related operations in the manufacture of products. Work to quality standards and specifications in accordance with established practices, processes, regulations, guidelines and standards in a safe and efficient manner.
Schedule: Training 1st for a couple of weeks and then moving to 2nd Shift
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up, operate and/or tend manually and/or feedback controlled machine(s) according to guidelines and work instructions. Feed, handle, prepare and/or weigh/measure material for in-process or finished goods processes.
Ensure compliance and quality standards for customer or organizational specifications which may entail multiple processes.
Maintain production records manually and/or through electronic systems in accordance with work instruction and/or standard operating procedures.
Maintain adequate supply of materials needed to perform tasks effectively.
Monitor operations of designated machinery and communicate with supervisor and relevant personnel on the condition of the operation/production and any unusual circumstances or issues to facilitate processes and ensure efficient operations.
Effectively clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
Actively contribute to continuous process improvement. Participate in training and continuous learning opportunities; meet training and/or certification requirements of the job, department, product or area as designated/defined in work instructions and quality standards.
Abide by, enforce and participate in the implementation and ongoing oversight of all company safety standards and regulations.
